Sebastian is Chief Content Officer at S&S Media. He has actively been involved with the IT industry for more than 10 years.
As a journalist he is constantly in touch with thought leaders in software development and architecture. He is editor in chief of the German speaking Java Magazin and program chair of the JAX conferences since 2001.
Prior to joining S&S Media, he studied philosophy and anthropology in Frankfurt, Germany.

Adam Bien (www.adam-bien.com) is an independent speaker, software architect, developer, consultant, and author. Adam is using Java from the beginning (JDK 1.0) in different large scale projects. He wrote several books about Java and J2EE technology ("J2EE Patterns", "J2EE HotSpots", "Enterprise Java Frameworks", "Struts" and "Enterprise Java Architekturen"). Now he is working on architecture and of course also implementation in several J2EE/MDA-projects. He is also involved in embedded Java and P2P technology.

He is a committer to the Groovy and Grails projects and writes and speaks about Extreme Programming, automated testing, and Rich Internet Applications. He is lead author of the \"Groovy in Action\" book.

Ted Neward is an independent consultant specializing in high-scale enterprise systems, working with clients ranging in size from Fortune 500 corporations to small 10-person shops. He is an authority in Java and .NET technologies, particularly in the areas of Java/.NET integration (both in-process and via integration tools like Web services), back-end enterprise software systems, and virtual machine/execution engine plumbing.
Clemens Utschig

Clemens works within the SOA Product Management Team at Oracle Headquarters. Before moving to the states, he worked for years in Oracle Consulting, troubleshooting critical j2ee/soa projects within EMEA.
When not found on a plane, visting customers, giving trainings or supporting POCs, he takes care of the security integration in Oracle BPEL PM and ESB.
