Demystifying JavaServer Faces, Part II

In this two part JAX session you will learn all you need to know to be productive with JSF. The session is presented by Ed Burns. Ed has had a leadership role in JSF from its inception, and currently co-leads the Java Expert Group developing version 2.0 of the specification. In this part of the presentation, you will learn the basics of how to extend JSF with custom UI Components, and other JSF extension elements. We will cover how to use Ajax with JSF and expand the sample application to demonstrate the concepts introduced.
